Drew Roderick is an experienced editor and post-production specialist with over half a decade of experience in
the industry as an Assistant Editor, working primarily in theatrical marketing for major motion pictures and
streaming alongside Big Picture Entertainment.

In 2021, Drew began pursuing his MFA in Cinema with his alma mater, San Francisco State University. In that time, he has released one film, “A King in Yellow,” which screened at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, Phoenix Film Festival, Atlanta Underground and seven other screens in its circuit.

In July of 2023, production began on his MFA thesis, a hand-drawn 2D animated short, “A Prayer from the Blackbox.” In June of 2025, the film raised over $16,000, over 100% of its crowdfunding goal, and is still in
active production as of September 2026. Drew completed his Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinema in December of 2025.

He is also in the post-production phase on a documentary short, “Holy Toledo,” which follows the last two home games of the Oakland Athletics and will be submitting to festivals in early 2027.

Since October of 2023, Drew has been working freelance with a variety of clients on commercial and online edits. He is the Editor for The Downballot Podcast formerly hosted by DailyKos and has worked in the past with the HarvestZ YouTube channel, Pechanga Resort & Casino, Man + River, Learfield Sports, Butler University and more.

He has also been building a portfolio for sports photography through his work as an MiLB and MLB Grounds Crew member, documenting players for the San Jose Giants, Sacramento Rivercats and Athletics, and is available for hire for teams, publications and individual players alike.
